Post Office

Maylands

In August 2017, the City of Bayswater approved a change of use application for the former Maylands Post Office for a modern re-purpose. A Free Federation Classical style building completed in 1910 listed on the State Heritage List.

After preparing documentation for conservation in early 2018, Stephen Carrick Architects completed external conservation works to the former Post Office in preparation for the heritage site to be adopted to a new use that will once more engage with the Maylands community. This included works to face brickwork, parapet and structural repairs to the elevations.
